The Foundation has been setup under the chairmanship of Shri Sunil Shastri. He has been a cabinet minister in Uttar Pradesh, Member of Parliament and main of the country’s National Political parties.

As Minister of Power, Labour, Employment, Heavy Industries, Institutional Finance in the Government of Uttar Pradesh, he imbibed a working culture full of transparency and productivity.

Sunil Shastri has inherited the virtues of simplicity, selflessness, honesty, integrity and Indian values from his father, (late) Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri. He has always been deeply concerned for the good of the common man, farmers, youth and rural peasants.

Under his able leadership, the foundation has initiated a number of projects out of which many are conceptually first of their type. A number of people from different walks of life, retired bureaucrats, social and judicial activists, and NGOs have associated themselves with Shri Sunil Shastri in promoting the cause of the foundation as an important vehicle for change.

He is also the Chairman of the Shastri Sewa Niketan founded by (late) Smt. Lalita Shastri, which is actively engaged in various social & educational pursuits.

He is currently Chairman and Founder of Jai Jawan Jai Kisan Majdoor Congress political party engaged in trying to bring about a sweeping change in the Indian Political Arena through deeply engraved moral values and virtues
