Women and Child Development

Women Child Development is yet another area , which has been area of focus since june1997,we have our center at sarai Jullena operated under Dr. Rama Srivastava Some of the activities of the center have been as under:

We arranged six camps during calendar year 1997 with a focus on the issues and problems confronting Women, Children and teen-agers, considering them a main resource base of any vibrant society. These were arranged in different Geo-locations of Delhi. Each camp was run for a duration ranging one to two weeks.

The objective of such a camp was to create awareness towards Children Development , better hygiene, cleanliness amongst Women, marital counseling, interaction with teenagers , career counseling and aptitude assessment, apart from counseling Psycho-social developmental issues.


	In the calendar year 1998-1999, 7 camps , in 1999-2000 6camps , in 2000-2001 5camps and in 2002 6camps were conducted, more especially in segment of lower strata of society, children, teenagers and young adults .

nIn the year 2003,we have taken other far reaching tasks in hand and have tired to develop our center with a view to provide basic guidance and training to local community for beautician technique, personality development, embroidery, Music and Dance apart from arranging

interaction with the people having ideas of fashion designing practices of present times.
Realizing the need of providing tutorial classes we have further arranged classes with the help of socially active people

We have equipped the center to function ourselves further as a family counseling center of people of varied ages.
Ministry of Human Resources Development , Department of Women and Child Development Govt. of India has sanctioned a grant in Aid to under take a study on “Changing India Adolescent Development Pattern”.This center wishes to establish niche in society to help the needy people in lower strata of society.
